With scissor doors that glide upward when opened and blend perfectly when closed, the sporty character of the i8 is immediately recognizable. The i8 is designed to maximize aerodynamics and optimize efficiency. Its body shape is markedly low and forward, which cuts drag during driving. The i8 features a TwinPower Turbo 3-cylinder combustion engine placed in the rear axle which is controlled by a six-speed automatic transmission.
